The novelty of Qabas lies in its linking of lemmas from these sources, as well as its connection to 12 morphologically annotated corpora containing around 2 million tokens. This unique feature makes Qabas the first Arabic lexicon linked to both lexicons and corpora. The lexicon was developed semi-automatically using a mapping framework and web-based tool. Compared to other existing lexicons, Qabas boasts an extensive collection of approximately 58,000 lemmas, including nominal (45,000), verbal (12,500), and functional-word (473) entries.
