Paper Summary FAQ
What is arxiv?
From their website arxiv.org:
arXiv is a free distribution service and an open-access archive for nearly 2.4 million scholarly articles in the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, statistics, electrical engineering and systems science, and economics.
Why do you have summaries of arxiv papers on AI?
We provide summaries of AI papers from arxiv to make cutting-edge research more accessible and easier to understand. Not everyone has the time or background to read dense academic papers, so our goal is to distill the key ideas and insights in plain language, opening AI to everyone.
How do you display the summaries?
We offer 3 “levels” of a summary for each paper:
- Difficult – The original author’s paper abstract. (as it appears on arXiv)
- Medium – A rewritten version of the abstract that preserves the technical depth but uses limited technical language for easier reading. (Created by GrooveSquid.com)
- Easy – A high-level summary in plain English that explains the core ideas and significance of the paper, without assuming a technical background. (Created by GrooveSquid.com)
Both the medium and easy summaries are original content created and published by GrooveSquid.com.
