Medium GrooveSquid.com (original content) Medium Difficulty Summary
This paper presents a novel approach to solving the 3-SAT problem using a Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA)-like method. The proposed principle models solution ranks directly, resulting in a compact circuit with few gates that can efficiently handle large-sized 3-SAT problems. Numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach, successfully solving instances composed of 91 clauses and 20 variables using Qiskit.
Low GrooveSquid.com (original content) Low Difficulty Summary
This paper helps us solve tricky math problems using special quantum computers. They came up with a new way to find answers by modeling solution ranks directly. This makes it possible to tackle really big problems with just a few simple steps. The team tested this approach on large problems and was able to solve them using Qiskit, a popular tool for working with quantum computers.
