The paper introduces Implicit In-context Learning (I2CL), a paradigm that reduces the computational and memory overhead of in-context learning (ICL) while maintaining minimal information loss. I2CL generates a context vector from demonstration examples, which is then injected into the model’s residual streams at inference time.
