This paper proposes an innovative method called CustomText that enables high-quality textual image generation with precise control over font attributes. Building upon recent advancements in language-guided image synthesis using diffusion models, the authors aim to enhance the accuracy of text rendering and provide more control over font customization. The proposed approach leverages a pre-trained TextDiffuser model to enable control over font color, background, and types, while also addressing the challenge of accurately rendering small-sized fonts through the training of a ControlNet model for a consistency decoder. Experimental results demonstrate superior performance on both the CTW-1500 dataset and a self-curated dataset for small-text generation.
